Can I get the 144 hz 1ms using this monitor with a GTX 970

I can possibly get this monitor for a great deal, but don't want to get it if I can use all of its abilities to max.

Edit: Also, is there any tests that can be run to see if I am getting 144 hz and 1 ms. As I have access to test the monitor

As long as you don't mind turning down the games graphic setting then yes it'll work fine with that GPU, just make sure your using DisplayPort to get the 144hz.

To get 144fps, you will need to lower your graphics settings on some games.

Some games have fps counters.. you can turn those on.
This monitor should also have an fps counter. you can turn that on as well...
Nvidia control panel should show you if you're running 144hz
right click your desktop background> click Display settings > then click advanced display settings
you should see 144hz
