My computer had an intel core i9-7900X processor. It has a 32GB Installed memory(RAM) and it is running low on space. This is the C drive that I save my program files in. I installed many programs and I need to install more for my work. I do save my documents on another D drive. So all hat the C drive contains is what the Windows computer has given originally and the programs I install.
I'm planning to but additional SSD internal hard drive. Will this make my PC run faster? and Can I install my additional programs on to it?
I have also read that I can you RAID 0 to combine the two hard drive together to make one powerful hard drive. Is this safe to do?

Computer info

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-7900X CPU@ 3.3 GHZ
Installed Memory(RAM) 32 GB
system type : 64-bit Operating System , x64-based processor

Thank you in advance

  1. RAID 0. Ignore that concept completely. Do not do this.
  2. Can you have more than one SSD? Sure, assuming the motherboard has sufficient ports for it.

A 2.5" SSD connects exactly the same as an HDD would.

My current drive setup, 6x SSD:
