The title says it all. I've been thinking of adding another fan to my Deepcool Tesseract MT Case.
Preferably on the side panel (gpu generates lot of heat). Can I?

I am running a Strix GTX 970 in my case. Enough space to fit a fan. The isssue is that holes are cut out only for 120mm fans and not 140mm. Is it advisable to drill holes on the acrylic side panel? The heat emitted is so intense that I am afraid the side panel may melt some day.

Btw, I run the exhaust fan on one of the 2 fan slots at the top. A top slot, a rear slot and two side panel slots sit empty (120mm, all of them).

No problems with drilling holes in your case. Very unlikely temps will exceed 100 degrees centigrade so the plastic will be ok. Once the fan is in your heat fears should disappear.

Me, I'd add the rear and top fans in the spaces provided b4 doing the side fans.

I would've done the same too. But I'm going to use this case for not more than 4 months. 'm thinking of getting a Corsair 900D and also been thinking of custom liquid cooling my CPU and GPU.

The reason why I insist on placing 140mm fan only on the side is there isn't any space to fit one in the top slot (the case's width is very less). Same for the rear slot too.
