can i install

Kingston HyperX FURY Blue 8GB (1 x 8GB) Memory Module 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL10 Memory

on a ASUS P7P55D-E PRO mobo? or do i need 2x4GB kit?

because it has 4 slots but only support upto 16GB.

my specs are i7 870 and GTX750Ti, Kingston 4GB 1333 DDR3 with Corsair GS500 PSU if it's help to answer the question.

If the board supports 16gb max then no, one slot can not support 8gb in it.

You can always consult that very usefull motherboard manual which will tell you exactly the max ram per slot, and which slot to put a single stick in.

FYI using only 1 stick will reduce your performance ( by reducing memory bandwidth) by 15% because dual channel ram is designed to use a pair of ram sticks together.
You can but If you leave your 4gb stick in there it will under clock your 8gb stick to 1333mhz. So technically you would be running 12gb of 1333mhz.
8gb is a really good number for gaming. You really wouldn't utilize a whole 12gb.
