I have purchased a CoolerMaster HAF X and it appears the NZXT is one of the best AIO liquid coolers. Can I make it fit. MB will be an ASRock X99 WS-E with an 2011-3 Intel I7.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I have an answer to the OP's question for any future reference. I have successfully mounted the kraken x61 to my case, the HAF X, with nothing else but the materials provided in the package. While there are no screw holes pre drilled to the top to mount the radiator, it is very much possible with the layout to securely fasten it while not mounting directly to the top. There are two strips of metal that cross the top to mount a much smaller radiator, if the fans or the radiator is mounted on top of those bars, and with the fans or the radiator hanging below, there is enough space in the gap to fasten the assembly to the case very snuggly. I provided some pictures below to illustrate what I have done: http://imgur.com/a/XKYQ8

While some small area is lost because of those bars interference, it is not much and won't hamper performance. Whether this was intended or unintended design decision to wiggle in a 280mm radiator, it is entirely possible to use this cooler with this case.
