Can I install Intel i7 4700k?

I posted this question recently, and stupidly. I should have provided more information. So here goes nothing...

My PC Specs:
(The problem) CPU: AMD FX 4300 Quad Core 3.8 ghz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 760 4gb
RAM: 8gb
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Motherboard: Gigabyte 970a-D3

Current problem: Gaming if fine with older games, but with the new games my cpu is bottle-necking my rig and is starting to piss me off.

Question: Can I install the i7 4700k as an upgrade? Will it fit?

If you buy a new Intel supported motherboard then yes you can install an i7.

No, you will need a new Motherboard as am3+ socket and Intel processors are incompatible.
