i hav a gigabyte b75m-d3h mobo.....can i install mac here??
previously some of my friend said it depends on mobo...so plzz help...i hav no idea abt these stuffs...thanks..

If you use an Intel CPU, then you can install Mac.

That said, there could be numerous obstacles in your path, and a clean "vanilla" install may be out of your reach. You could need numerous kexts (drivers) to get full functionality out of your system. Your graphics card also heavily determines compatibility, as well as what version of Mac OS X you want to run. I still prefer Snow Leopard for the ease of installation and ease of updates, but it's just not compatible with everything.

That motherboard in question may be better for OS 10.7 or 10.8 but it sounds like you have a lot of reading ahead of you before you pull that install off.

Check for distros that have been prebuilt by teams, such as iATKOS. I will not go into much more information on the subject, as Google provides an exhaustive lookup for such info

i hav i5-3570k.....so which edition may i use?? snow leopard??

You will need to look into Lion or Mountain Lion... SL simply will not support the processor (features such as speedstep, sleep, integrated video, etc.)

You will need special boot CDs which support your CPU; bootloaders such as "Chameleon" or "Chimera"

And you will need to install from a USB drive, so a blank 8GB drive is necessary.

I think iATKOS L2 or M2 (lion or mountain lion) will work for your setup.

can u please elaborate??
the process of installing...i goggled a lot but was unable to find any helpful information...thanks in advance
