Question can i just update to the latest bios?

just had my MSI B550M Pro VDH Wifi mobo arrive, on pcpartpicker it said i had to update the bios to use it alongside the Ryzen 5 5600X. Do i just download the latest bios onto a usb and flash update it? or is there a specific version i have to download.

Depending when board was manufactured it probably supports 5000 series by now. If it does there should be an indication on the box saying along the lines of 5000 series ready.
