Can I launch my PC with only 3 of the 4 motherboard backplate attachment screws to my water block screwed in?

Question as above, fast help required. I used to run an Intel box cooler with 3 pins on the cpu but only noticed that the ones were broken when I cleaned it (i7 860 non k). 3 screws are attached to the cross for the waterblock on the backside but I accidentally broke the fourth when screwing in.

you can but i would watch the temps in the bios and then in the operating system VERY carefully. it's not ideal to use it like this long term. and it could stress the motherboard and damage something. its really not idea. you CAN do it but i wouldnt recommend it.

35c in bios stable, been 42 with Intel cooler (4 pin one) . I guess that's a go.

Second update here, system core temps between 30 and 35c, doing a Cinebench Test (longer than 1 min, 100% load) only took the temps up to 47c, then the fans started to work harder. The CPU ran at its most possible 2,9gHz, and since I can't overclock with this I guess for the moment I can very well live with this.
