Can I mix 2 different ram but same frequency?

I want to upgrade my ram, but my budget is limited, I have corsair value select 4gb 1600mhz ram, and I want to add kingston hyperx fury 4gb 1600mhz, can I add them?

They may or they may not work. They could also work but cause problems, like blue screens and freezes. Don't look only at the advirtized frequency. Chances they would work increase if they do share the rest of the specs: Voltage, latencies etc. Generally speaking, it is a bad idea to mix rams of different vendors. Ram is the most sensitive part in terms of stability.

After doing it quite often, I would say, 2 out of 3 is the probability that mix and matching RAM will work.
You are welcome to try but if it does not work, it is also still as expected.
