Can I mix these ram sticks ?

Hello,
I have 4x2 ram sticks at the moment in my build. I want to upgrade my ram a bit so I was thinking if I could buy a set of 2x8 ram and still keep 1 set of 2x2 ram. It is the indetical ram only bigger storage. Both are Corsair vengeance LP-DDR3 with the same latency of CL9 (9-9-9-24) and the same voltage of 1.5 V.

Is there any reason there would be a problem if I do this?

You can buy two of the exact same sets and there's no guarantees those will play - all you can do is try, you could get a set of 2x8GB and they might not play at all with yoru current DRAM, then exchange the 2x8GB for another package of the same model and they might play fine. Mixing is a crapshoot

So there is like no real problem if I do this then?
