Can I out an 8gb stick in Acer veriton M4618G

Hi j have an 8gb stick and I ordered an M4618G but I'm worried to whether or not I can out an 8gb stick in it or maybe his update it to get it working

Crucial does not list any 8 GB modules for that computer. It may not work. Make sure the BIOS is updated and then try it. If it does not work, use two 4 GB sticks.
