I say yes because I've bought this card like 3 weeks ago and was happy with it until I saw that Firestrike 2013 only gave me like average 16200-16300 score and a high value of 16540 score on a fresh pc start.

But then again I didn't read any review for this zotac card and they say that's it's score is like under a Nvidia Founders Edition gtx 1080. I had my eye on a Msi gtx 1080 Gaming X which I've read reviews with a score of like 18500 but this zotac was cheaper at the time on Amazon then the MSI.

So I've read some reviews to what's the best...

So I've read some reviews to what's the best oc for this card, but you have like 2 options depending on your cooling.

My pc rig: i7 3970X, Corsair Vengeance 8gb ddr3 1600 Mhz, ssd, 750W psu Corsair
I don't know if there's a bottleneck here, but I don't oc the cpu.

Open Zotac Firestorm software:

1st option: gpu clock +125Mhz, (boost to 1884 Mhz) (guru3d review)
2nd option: gpu clock +300Mhz (boost to 2059 Mhz) (bit-tech review)

Rest is all the same:
gpu max volt: 80%
memory clock: +700 Mhz (=11.404 GHz effective data-rate)
power: 120%
gpu temp target: 92%

display refresh rate: (I don't touch that ...)

Firestrike 2013 oc scores:
1st option +125 Mhz => +- 16900 points
2nd option +300 Mhz => +- 17540 points

I've tried once to go higher with 300 Mhz and Memory clock but it results in green flickering in FireStrike 2013 (artifacts?) so I let it stay on 2nd option. In the end I'm fairly happy with the score I can generate with the 2nd oc profile.

I don't know if a score of 17540 is good to go with my pc? Or do other gtx 1080 cards go higher? I don't game on 1440p, only on 21:9 1080p.
