Yup, it's not like Intel's mobos that only the Zx70 can overclock.
AMD's 350 can as well.

I oc'd my 1600X to 3.9Mhz on an MSI B350 Tomahawk mobo and ALL I did was manually set my CPU frequency to 39.00 and reboot, bios took care of everything else automatically, dont feel the need to push it to 4.0 right now. To OC my RAM (G.Skill ripjaw4 3000) , it did require a bios update, but once updated, I selected A-XMP #2 with 2933mhz, rebooted and everything ran perfectly. I am far from an expert on playing with BIOS and overclocking so I quite happy with how my system is running right now.
