I have a h81m-ds2v mATX motherboard LGA 1150, i am wondering if it can overclock an i5 4690k, now i know it would be limited and won't be as good as a z97. but i have been having a look around and some people say no and some people say yes. i have looked in the BIOS and there are options to change the multiplier and vcore.
some people say that it only works on the pentium g3258 but then i stumbled across this (picture inserted) in the manual so will it work?

just so you know i havent actually got the 4690k yet but i am getting a really good deal on it so i figured why not.

Well as long as vrm temps dont skyrocket, you can add heatsinks to them, thats what you look at.

Monitor it via Hwinfo64 in sensor mode, it will give you a lot of information, also in bios there you can check temps.

More vrm , better stability at vcore level (if im right).
Heatsinks to keep temperature at bay.
Also you need to check the north bridge + south temp level (big square heatsink on bottom right). Which heated up for me on g41 mobo (775 socket).
