Hello i have an older computer (5 years),

AMD 6core 1055T (the older version with TDP 125 W)
cpu cooler is CoolerMaster Hyper TX3
mainboard is: Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 (rev. 1.0)
psu is: Seasonic Energy Knight SS-500ET 500W OEM
Current iddle temps are around 30 degrees Celsius (rather 27-28C) via core temp
and below 40 C (around 37-38?) on load (rendering or other demanding apps, not prime95)
In summer it will be probably a little higher

The max temp for this cpu is i think around 62C. Its almost 5 years (in august) old cpu in my only/main pc.

My questions is simple: Can i overclock given my situation? (the mainboard, the temps, the cpu cooler, the age of the cpu etc...) and i can it up for example at least 500 or better i wanted 700-900 Mhz on this fan and board?

There might be someone with experience with this cpu and board so im asking...

thanks

to make the answer short you basically can overclock till you hit 80C under full load...at 90c chips will throttle themselves to avoid damage. Now i have to agree i can't imagine your cooler will give you too much head room but you can try. Run prime95 for 4 hours and if you don't crash or go over 80c your golden. Can't say i know the best overclocking tips for that particular CPU as my last 4 primary builds were intel based but hear a few guides i found with a quick google:
