my CPU is 2.00GHZ. was wondering if i can try to increase speed just a bit? iam just beginning to look into this overclocking process but dont know much about it.
You can't expect an answer without having to provide the CPU model, the motherboard, memory, etc. If it's a laptop or a pre-built from Dell, HP, etc., then you most likely won't be able to overclock.
I recall overclocking a Turion x2 (laptop CPU) quite a few years back. I was able to get a couple hundred more MHz, but at this point that hardware is so obsolete it would hardly help performance on modern applications.
