[SOLVED] Can i pair my A10-7870K with a Rx580 8g?

I know it will bottleneck it but i want to know by how much? Also i’m about to buy a better cpu in a month or two. So i would just like to know what would happen if i pair the two together for the time being?

You absolutely can.
Have you looked at the RX590? They're slightly more efficient (perf/watt) and only cost about $15 more (in the US)

I can only afford the RX580 in my country rip. I have a Aerocool strike-x power supply 80plus silver. Thanks for the fast reply 👌🏻

Yes. It is the 800w one. Will it be sufficient? The rx580 might bottleneck my cpu so hard that im scared it’ll make my cpu heat up or even dip below 60 fps in some games. *cs go and league

Oh sorry, newbie at pc parts here 😅. So its okay to install the Rx580 and play along with the a10-7870k? Then just upgrade to a better cpu later?

Might want to take a look at the GTX1650 Super launched today. Similar performance, less power draw.
