[SOLVED] Can i play 4k using hdmi port or dvi

I have hdmi port connected to gpu to play 4k. Do I use dvi port to monitor dvi?

Don't use DVI for 4K. Stick with HDMI or Display Port.

as said, DVI is probably dead tech, also make sure to know wich version of HMDI or DP you're going to use as, for instances, some cables with older versions just supports up to so much resolution and up to so much on the refresh rate, for instance DP 1.2 and up support 4k resolutions at 60hz, while HDMI 1.4 supports 4k only at 30hz, its always good to check your devices support
