Hello. I know the question seems kinda stupid, but I am no expert with PCs. I pre-ordered Call Of Duty Ghosts, and recently found out it required 6GB RAM Memory, and my PC has only 4GB. Could I still run the game? And if not, can I combine 4GB RAM stick with a 2GB RAM stick? Thanks for your time :)

Solution
Minimum system requirements specifically state 6GB, so while the game would probably load, it would probably crash when it ran out of memory. Upgrade options will depend on how many RAM slots you have and if any are available. While not likely, it's not impossible that you currently have a single 4GB RAM module installed. More likely, you have two 2GB RAM modules installed and if you have RAM slots available, 2x1GB RAM modules would get you to the minimum specs required, but a 2x2GB RAM module set that matches your current RAM would be ideal.

Solution
Your best bet would be to buy a set of 2x4GB, mixing sticks is not a good idea, it often is problematic and then you a stuck with another trip to a store or RMAing the new DRAM, possibly paying restocking fees etc. Tolerances on DDR3 are extremely tight which is why they offer DRAM in sets of of 1,2 3, 4, 6, 8 sticks, all in a pachkage have been tested to work together and are also (if appropriate, 1600 and higher) programmed with XMP for the number of sticks in the package

Thanks on your help. It looks like I am going to buy another 2GB stick (And I have one 4GB stick, 2 slots). The only problem is I don't know what sticks does my motherboard support, so I don't know what stick to buy. I also know that I need a stick that has the same speed (9-9-9-24) as my other one, but on web shops there is no description about that, it just says CL9 or CL(number). Anyways thanks :)
