Solution
I have a FX 6300 and a GTX 750 Ti and I get 60 fps most of the time on a mix of mid-ultra settings so if you got a FX 6300 you would do pretty darn well. Although I do get some weird frame drops on certain maps, (like 2 maps out of 20 and only on particular servers) I think this could just be a game problem though and will be patched soonish.

If you scavenge around you could get the 6300 for 100 bucks.
Your bottleneck is the 4100 processor. You should still be able to run it well though
high settings: ~40 fps

You could run it on ultra if you upgrade to the 6000 series when you get the chance. It is a bit better for a processor-heavy game like Battlefield

so I will still be able to run the game on high settings no sweat? I am planning on switching my processor in October

Go for the FX 8320 if you can. There are still some bottlenecks on the 6000 series. I know from experience.

On most maps though you should get above 40fps on high-ultra

thanks for the help that is what I plan on getting. I am ordering the graphics card, psu, and cpu as soon as possible

Awesome! I hope to see you out on the battlefield.

If you're still wondering 40 fps is definitely playable. Above 30 frames, your eyes really cant distinguish a difference.

All console games run 30 fps (or maybe a little more (31,32)), so above that is great
