Do you have that monitor ??? Look at the back side which connectors it has. If it does have HDMI, yes you can, if it doesn't you need adapter, DVI would do too.
If this is your monitor http://www.benq.com/product/monitor/RL2455HM/specifications/ than it has only VGA (D-Sub) connector, no HDMI. And yes you are going to need a VGA cable too.

but, i saw alot of videos and reviews about this monitor (benq rl2455hm) and the monitor it has two HDMI cables ??
I have this monitor. It works just fine for PC or Console as long you have HDMI ports on the other end.
