[SOLVED] Can I plug a surge protector into a powerline adapter with a passthrough?

Title basically. Since the powerline I'm looking at will block the other outlet on the wall I want to invest in one with a passthrough and just plug my surge protector into that. Should it be okay?

If u have a surge protector with a non-protected jack, sure go right ahead. Nothing is gonna blow up.
