Can i use single pci-e power cable from psu kit, witch has two 6+2 pin connectors at one end or i should use separate cables to power that monstrous card?

That is a great psu. Use the single pci-e cable which has two 6+2 pin connectors. You will have no problems running a r9 290x with it.

Should be able to,
I still personally believe that he should run 2 separate cables, however one cable should do the trick

ya, if not running muti cards like a sli I would use 2 leads to help insure good clean stable power to the card .. it may not matter over all with a solid quality unit , but that's just me on that deal

I would think if the psu could not handle the 2 on one lead that probably would not of wired it up that way to start with ?? and todays psu are not as common mulit rail units as they once were so they all come off a single rail anyway

Hey i saw this topic and i wanted to ask a question. I have an r9 290x as well and a Corsair 750CX or something psu. Do i need two cables?
I do experience not its full potential in performance if that has something to do with it.

I sure seasonic has faith in there better units to handle one full card off one lead as you would need to with a multi card set up - but with using 2 leads you don't have a chance of overloading or stressing one lead ??

I guess it personal preference on how you fell you want to go with that or cable management in the case ??
