my motherboard is an ASUS PRIME B365M-A
it says it can handle up to ;
4 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR4 2666/2400/2133 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture

i have put an i5 9400 in it and the 9400 says it can handle
Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type) 128 GB
Memory Types DDR4-2666
Max # of Memory Channels 2
Max Memory Bandwidth 41.6 GB/s
ECC Memory Supported ‡ No
currently im using FURY 2x 8GB 2666Mhz on dual channel

i was wondering if i can add 2x more of 8GB RAM which means a total of 32GB RAM 4 sticks dual channel.
but i was worried about what i read somewhere on the web that it may actually become slower since its 2 dual channels ?

OR

i could sell my 2x 8GB RAM and buy 2x 16GB RAM which should total it 32GB ram on 2 sticks only dual channel (with no worries on slow on 4 sticks thing)
PLUS i have 2 more slots for future expansion.

can this be done ?

OS : Windows10 64bit

max ram motherboard takes is 64gb, CPU if put in another Motherboard could handle 128gb

I would buy 2 x 16gb set as it is guaranteed to work with each stick, trying to match 4 sticks, of 2 sets, together can lead to errors.

will this do ? i couldn't understand what the (TPD416G2666HC19BK) means

16GB(1x16GB) TEAM ELITE PLUS DDR4 2666 (TPD416G2666HC19BK) – BLACK/GOLD

there is also a HyperX Fury one that i can afford but its a bit more pricey than this one. why is that ? they are both the same in frequency and storage.
