[SOLVED] Can I put an old HDD with windows installed into my newer pc?

I found my old HDD which I know has windows installed in it. I was wondering if it's safe to just put my old HDD into my PC without having any conflicts with the Windows. I just wish to wipe the HDD and make give my pc some extra space.

As long as the boot order is correct and it doesn't try to boot from that drive, no issues.

Install it and wipe as desired.

Just format the drive in BIOS. If I remember correctly some motherboards BIOS will let you zero the drive too.
