They need to have same frequency, then it will work. You need to check the sticks you mentioned if they have the same frequency (Hz). If not, don't put them into same motherboard.

you can try but no guarantee it will work

even if you got the same ram as you already had that wouldnt 100% guarantee to work

ram is sold in packs that are tested to work with each other for a reason

If I understand your question correctly, you have two 4 DIMM kits. If so all you need to do is make sure that all of one kit's parts are grouped to work together and that the other kit's parts are also grouped to work together.
