Yes, you need a pc case to attach your motherboard to. Your power supply also has to be attached in your case.

Yes, 8GB is enough.
Yes, an external optical dvd drive will be ok.
I don't know how to calculate power supply but a 450 watt should be plenty.

i did mention the motherboard i choosed is asus P8Z77-V lx.but im still struggling or should i choose asus P8Z77-M or asus sabertooth Z77?
