[SOLVED] Can I put SODIMM ram in DIMM slot in Asus notebook ?

My laptop is Asus X550VX and its specification is this :
DDR4 2133 MHz SDRAM, OnBoard Memory 8 GB , 1x DIMM socket, DIMM Up to 16 GB

I've been planning put additional RAM. I can't get 16GB ram around, all I can get near where I live is 8GB ram DDR4 2133MHz. So I want to buy this : Corsair 16GB Module (1x16GB) DDR4 2133MHz Unbuffered CL15 SODIMM, but I just realized that it is SODIMM, not DIMM. And actually, now that I think about it, all computer services I've been into also recommended me to put 8GB Corsair SODIMM on it. Can I actually put SODIMM in DIMM slot ?

Like all notebooks for many years, this one uses SODIMMs, like THESE.

And NO, SODIMM and standard 288 pin DIMMs are not interchangeable.

Ahh,, because I checked in Asus official page, it says this series has DIMM in it. Yes, I'm aware Crucial & Corsair also has it, but they're literally commercial companies, I didn't want to make mistake and that's why I went to Asus official page. Thanks anyway, then SODIMM is fine.

Sometimes companies don't specify sodimm, but if they say the number of pins, you can always figure it out.

Then ASUS doesn't specify. I've been looking for 1x16GB RAM with no luck so far. Mine is 2133MHZ and Crucial has none for 2133MHz. Corsair has it, but it's been extremely hard to find.
