Can I remove a laptop screen and use a regular monitor

can I remove a laptop screen and replace with with a regular monitor

Yes and no. Yes you can remove a laptop's internal display, but generally speaking you are limited by the number of external video connectors that are offered by your laptop. Most only have 1 in the form of VGA/DSUB or HDMI. The internal display uses a custom connector that would be difficult to make work with a standard monitor.

It worked, I had a 15 pin port on the back of the laptop and attached a monitor to it. I have to remove the lid and screen and unattached the line from the laptop.
