Hello,

I have a Lenovo K430 desktop which came with a 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7-3770.
I removed that CPU, and installed a Celeron G1620. Now, the computer will not turn on.

I ASSumed that I could install any LGA-1155 CPU. Should I have used an i3/i5? Is it a (cpu) generational thing? BIOS incompatibility?

Thanks for any advice!

Couldn't get any tv tuner card to work with the Lenovo motherboard, so I stripped out all the good stuff and built a new computer. Now I'd like to get the Lenovo up and running on the cheap.

Thanks for the very quick replies!
