Certainly. Both sockets are lga1150 so it wouldnt be a problem. CPUs with the same socket are made to be upgradable for the consumer without the expense of a different motherboard.

You should be able to, but check the motherboards CPU compatibility list. You may need to update your Bios before doing the swap.

I would leave it alone as long as the 4770 is supported by your current Bios.

Can we ask why you want to go for the 4770? Just its only going to better in some situations, its basically the same CPU you have but with hyperthreading and I think a little more cache.
