I have this np450 15,6 inches samsung with an intel hm76 express motherboard that is compatible with the 3630, i'd like to know if I'll have power problems and if the quadchip has the same size of the dual core chip. If someday i'll find a nVidia gt 740m will I be able to change the standard 710m with it?

You canno't upgrade your Sandy Bridge processor to an Ivy Bridge processor. Theoretically, the best upgrade you could do is to another ULV processor (because your current processor uses 17watts, the upgraded processor must also use a maximum of 17 watts). The best sandy bridge ULV processor is the i7-2677M. (http://ark.intel.com/products/54617/Intel-Core-i7-2677M-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-2_90-GHz), however considering the fact that your samsung is an ultrabook, it is likely that you can't take it apart to upgrade the CPU

thanks yoyo! I though I could change the chip because this very same samsung comes with other configurations, one of wich has a i5-3230m 35W TDP and a different power supply. Despite the 3630QM has 45W TDP i found its brother, the 3632QM, wich is slightly less powerful but with 35W TDP.

If you can find a way to open up your notebook, and gain access to the CPU slot, you could try upgrading to a better processor (either the i7 or the i5), however no guarantees especially because they have different TDPs (which also means they will put off more heat, which makes me kind of surprised that the same model laptop comes in two different configs with different TDPs). If you do this, you will definitely need a new power cord though. Best of luck
