Can I replace the Android keyboard layout with a PC style layout?

I cannot find common PC symbols on the Android keyboard. (I wonder why they moved them?) I have to search for * ! @ ? . etc., every time I use the keyboard or go without them. How do I move those standard PC symbols to the right place on an Android keyboard and not lose the ability to swipe?

Wander over to the app store and look for keyboards. Swype might be good for you.

Yeah there is a keyboard with PC layout. It is called "Hacker's Keyboard"
