Question Can I reprogram fake ps2 controller?

I recently bought a fake ps2 controller online. The problem is, when I press L1, both L1 and L2 buttons will register. I disassembled it, but found nothing clogging that part of the controller, so I'm guessing it's due to its programming(?). Is there any way to fix this?

No. Use a real controller

And you're using it on a real PS2? Did you try the other controller port?

But in general, no I don't think it's worth trying to figure it out. Get a second hand geuine controller.
