I am running on a computer with Intel Core i7-4500U 1.8GHz. Gta V requiers a lower processor (inteli5) but with 3.2GHz. can i run the game on my processor even though it requiers 3.2GHz and i have only 1.8?
please answer,
pietro

Thanks for the advices. So, my processor is certain to be up for the job. Now you have all asked about my GPU. I hate to say it but i am not an expert of hardware, so what is a GPU?

Ok so my graphics card is an nvidia GF GT820M 1 GB. The game requires an nvidia 9800 GT 1GB. Am I able to run it even at low settings? If not is there a way to change a graphics card in an ASUS laptop??

So even at low-medium settings can my graphics card handle the game? Also on some sites it said that this GPU couldnt handle the game, while others like the rockstar forum said it could run it with a mix of low-medium settings

It is possible with some laptops. Exactly which ASUS laptop do you have?

How about this?
Intel® Core i7-4510U (2.00GHz 1600MHz 4MB)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 820M 2GB
Intel® HD Graphics 4400
4.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3L SDRAM 1600 MHz
1TB + 8GB 5400 RPM

EDIT: WTH is that?!

Nonono, this is even worse. 860M or higher/ 770M or higher. That's what you should aim for. I know they're expensive, but the laptop graphcis are much slower compared to desktop one. This is why you need something more high-end if you wanna play GTA V at decent settings. Or better yet, just build yourself a gaming PC for 850$. Put an an AMD R9 290 and you're pretty much set to go. Ultra settings on this one would be easy.

I have an ASUS F552L.
As I said before i am not looking for the best ultra settings and gaming experience because i know it is not possible.
And about making a new computer:
1. Not enough space in the house
2. My parents are not bug fans of computers and technology

So in order for me to make one even with my own money we are talking about 5+ years from now since i got a new laptop this summer.

Let me do some research. It will take a couple of hours. In what country are you located?

Took less time than I expected,

Since the game has not been released yet, nothing is certain. However, based on the information I have, I doubt that you will get fluent play at 30FPS or better on even 720p with minimum effects on that machine, your GPU is too weak and it does not seem that it can be upgraded to anything significantly better due to power limitations.

If playing this game is essential, then sell off this laptop and buy a newer, faster one with an 860M or better GPU.

Ok thanks for your time. I spoke to my parents and my saving some money I will be building a pc my own (will be ready probably for next may or so). I will be using as CPU intel i7 4790K and as GPU GTX980. Are they good processors? Any ideas for anything better?? Please let m know. Thanks

Yea a 4790k with a 980 is a great choice, They are both great parts and you will be able to play games maxed out for a couple of years :)

Ok first of all i know that this thread is totally changing topic. Also there are different GTX980 GPUs out there. I picked the MSI. Is it a good choice?? Second of all i am more of a software guy than a hardware guy. I have no clue whatso ever on making a computer myself. Any good tutorials or places i could get information??

I would recommend the ASUS STRIX 980 or the MSI 980 as they are both very good, For the tutorials check out LinusTechTips on youtube, He makes great vids and I basically learned a lot of what I know now from him.
