Hey guys i was thinking if i could run ACU or not. I know its a buggy, broken mess but i still want to play & one of the reason i upgraded my pc. So here is my previous & upgraded specs:

Previous Specs:
1/ Core i3 540 @ 3.06 Ghz
2/ Gigabyte h55m-s2v motherboard
3/ 8 GB ddr3 ram @ 1333 mhz
4/ Nvidia Gt 430 1GB DDR3

Present Specs:
1/ Core i5 4690k @ 3.5 Ghz ( Don't know how to overclock, thought i could but everthything seems so confusing & risky 🙁 )
2/ Msi Z97 gaming 5 motherboard
3/ 8 GB ddr3 ram @ 1333 mhz
4/ Msi Gtx 970 Gaming 4g

So here are my present specs guys, will i see noticeable improvment in ACU than my previous rig to consider it as playable? As always thanks for being helpful.......... Appreciate it....

I see you have the almost same specs as mine. Have you tried it? How did it turns out? i am gonna use a single gtx 970 if sli is a problem in 1.4 patch

Sorry mate, I am only 15 😛 And building this computer took away a big budget of my savings. Therfore, I don't have ACU, and to be honest, I never liked Assassins Creed anyways ( Sorry 🙁 ). But I do know as a fact it is horribly optimized, from what my friend told me, so thats where I gave you the you might not get the best FPS.

From what I know, I think SLI will not be that great for ACU. Correct me if I am wrong guys 😛 .

Yes, you can on Ultra 1080p x2MSAA or TXAA with stable 30+ FPS.

I run it like that with a:
i5 3570
STRIX 970
8GB RAM
Win8 x64

Can you please provide some more details? Like what patch are you using and what display driver version ?

Always latest nvidia driver & AC:U patch.
Im playing since december/1.2 patch.

Had like 2 glitches/Bugs at max but never gamebreaking.

Try running the cracked version first to see how it runs if you are unsure. Thats what i do before purchases, since demo is nonexistant nowadays.

Do you have the freezing problem? I'm using 1.3 patch and the game randomly get freezed and gets normal after couple of seconds. Why do you think it's happening? Game problem or gpu problem?

I run Unity on patch 1.5 and considering that I use a dual core Pentium, and an R7 250 with 2GB DDR3, I play on 1024x768 Medium Preset, FXAA, and get 30+ frames which is more than playable for me. On the rig you mentioned, you'll see a huge performance difference and will easily get good framerates on Very High or Ultra. If you play on 900p you'll get even more frames. Regardless, you should be good to go,

Well guys seems i can really play the game at high specs. Currently everything on ultra, hbao+, soft shadows & TXAA. Getting 30 fps but since it sometime dips down to 25 or so, using fxaa as a alternative and getting a good 45-40 fps. The only problem that remains is the freezing problem at certain parts of the town. Even though it gets normal after couple of seconds, it certainly isn't a pleasing experience. Think updating will fix the problem?

The freezing/stuttering issue is a common game problem. For me, it starts kicking in after around 30 minutes of gameplay. I'm on patch 1.5 with the latest beta drivers for my card (Radeon R7 250) and I still get the freezes.

Yes it would be a absolutely stunning game if these issues were not present. Just hoping gta v will not fall under this category when it comes out.
