Nope. I have an e8400 oc'd to 3.6ghz and when I was running my radeon hd 4850 I could barely play the original farcry much less fc4. It would play with settings turned down but again that was original farcry.
I'm running it with a weaker CPU, dual core @ 2.9 GHz (not so weaker lol), although with 8 GB RAM and the game is running just fine, just like FC3 did.
FYI If you don't have it already, there is a fix for Far Cry 4 black screening due to dual cores.

What CPU do you have? If you're talking about the Pentium G2020 then that CPU is in an entirely different league than the E5700. We're talking weak Core 2 duo vs an Ivy bridge part. Huge difference.

I have AMD Athlon II X2 245 ~2.9 GHz. Game works. That's the point.
