Hey guys, I have my 43" monitor's screen split into 6 chrome windows with each window having many tabs. I want to save each window's tabs then load them in chrome on a Windows 11 pc.

First issue, I am not able to save all tabs in one window. It is because of the split 6 windows setup that is preventing me from doing this?

Searching and searching the net and youtube I cannot find a way to do this, any ideas please?

so you want to save these tabs as sort of a profile of each individual window? so you can open a chrome window and then chose which of these "profiles" of tabs to open?

i say "profile" cause that seems the best word to describe it and it's something chrome has built in

since it saves bookmarks and such for each profile, seems like you load a profile and then load it's bookmarks. open new window and repeat to get all 6 going....

you can also create custom shortcuts for each "profile" so you'd simply click each one to load a window with it's bookmarks.

I was thinking to save all of one window's tabs as a file then on the Win11 machine, I open that file to load all tabs in one window. Then repeat this for the other 5 windows.

But I will look into your link now to see what it's about, get back to you, thanks.

oh ok. i am assuming if you sync the profiles with your google account, they should be available on any other pc you sign into. i don't use chrome myself but i believe that's how it works.

if you make bookmarks for the tabs, i know you can export them to a file like you are thinking. then import them again on the other machine manually. may not even need the profiles if you make the bookmark list unique for each window.

I am trying but trying to save the bookmarks or tabs in this 6 windows setup is not working. I think that is the issue. Tomorrow I will try some more but these 3 methods I had found before posting here is not working.

So here's the results of my testing from that video's 3 methods. 1st option, when I open the same gmail account on PC2 and go to 'History', it does show all tabs from PC1 but it does not load all tabs, I can only select any single tab.

2nd option using Copy Url extension, on PC2 when I click 'paste' nothing happens.

3rd option. Using Bookmarks, I have exported all tabs to an html file but I am not understanding how to auto load them on PC2? The guys' video moves too quickly and even slowing down the speed I am still having trouble.
