Can I still use a display port cable for my monitor using an elgato hd60s to stream to a secondary computer?

I want to stream my desktop game play to my laptop using an elgato hd60s but I'm wondering if I'll still be able to use a display port to my monitor to take full advantage of my frame rate. If you have any other suggestions let me know, thanks in advance!

Yeah you should be able to if you have an open display port on your GPU.
