I was thinking of adding a router to my wifi setup. As of now I have one main modem/router w/ wifi provided by the cable company and a repeater which goes operates at 2.4 & 5ghz. From there I have the ethernet port running to a switch which I run a few cat6 cable off of to PCs/Laptops via ethernet.
I guess my main question is can I use a second router and access point? to add a better wifi signal (The portal is the name of it and it's supposed to make online gaming run like Killer Double Shot Pro) without the ethernet cable (although it has an ethernet in and 4 or 5 outports).
