Question Can I still use an app from the Windows old file?

I had to reinstall windows 10 on my laptop, because it became corrupted. and I want to still use a CS6 app. Am I able to get it from the Windows old file ?
Would I be able to drag and drop the Appdata folder or whatever files and folders I would need, without having to reinstall the App?
Thankfully I was able to pull my Docs, Pics, music and even Chrome Bookmarks backup using an enclosure ( because it said that I was not able to reinstall without losing my files or apps)

Some apps will work, some won't.

You have to try to know.

I also have some old programs from XP that run directly in W10 after moving the whole folder to the new PC.

If it's just the Appdata folder, those files are things that are used by the applications to run properly, not the files for the applications themselves.

I guess I should've asked this before, so which folders do I move over?
The one in the AppsData is probably one
the desktop shortcut is another, any more?

Going to be trial and error, easier to reinstall anything you want to use again.
