I thought about upgrading my CPU but i'm not sure if that is possible without losing any data on my PC. So is it possible or not?

What's your current CPU & motherboard?

If there is a better CPU that your motherboard will take, you can usually swap it out without messing up Windows (at most it will run Windows Update for any CPU-specific updates).

If you're maxed out on the CPU, & have to replace the motherboard, then you're looking at a reinstallation of Windows...which means backing up important/irreplaceable files before doing so.
Sure it's possible. The data is stored on a hard drive and is independent of the processor. Just make sure your motherboard supports the processor you want to upgrade to. Otherwise, you'll have to buy a new board as well.
