Can I switch these power supplies?

Solution

Hi,

This PSU should be more than enough and safe to move to the other case. Now as @Rogue Leader said which I completely agree and with too. In the link you included for the new Case if you go to the reviews section you will see that people are happy with...

Hi,

For the Dell (https://cnet2.cbsistatic.com/hub/i/r/2011/08/16/8c16c4d4-67c3-11e3-a665-14feb5ca9861/thumbnail/770x433/0a3c7b6dbc6431a17e1ca0560fca94e2/34857810_OVI.JPG). The PSU (Standard size) you can place it where ever you like as long as it is enough to provide the parts with the power they want!

So you are planning to take the PSU from the (New Case) and place it in the Current PC?

The PSUs from both are junk (Actually the Dell isn't that horrible but not good enough for you to be able to upgrade the PC at all).

Buy a new case that DOESN'T include a PSU, swap in your dell parts, and then buy yourself a Seasonic, EVGA, XFX, or Antec PSU.

Logisys is housefire quality garbage. If you already own it, throw it out or sell it to someone you don't like.

In the link you included for the new Case if you go to the reviews section you will see that people are happy with the case but not the PSU (not even 80+ certified, so it kinda worst of the worst). So I would advice too, buy case and PSU separately (if you havent already) is better.

Great will do! In the meantime do you think the logisys PSU will do for a week or two til the new one I ordered comes in?
Dealing with my graphics card and everything else of course.

Hi,

The problem you cant predict how long it will last, it might be already dead when you buy the case, also since it is not certified there is no grantee that it will provide 430w.
