So yesterday I just got the asus gtx 970, let me just say this computer is absolutely amazing. Anyway, there is one thing that really bothers me about the card, there is a super bright LED light that lights up white when the card is receiving power. Even when I turn my computer off, the light still lights up, and with a windowed case it is bright at night. Is there anyway I can disable this or do something to stop it?

yeah, im to lazy to do anything else

I have unselected the 'solution' above because if you go into the GeForce experience application, and then select the 'LED Visualizer' option under 'My Rig' there is an option to just have the lights display whilst your rig is on, or to turn off the LEDs altogether - simple as that. You won't have to go to the trouble of turning it of every night then.

There are plenty of other effects in there that you can play around with as well.

cut a bit of electrical tape and stick it over the light?

Is only one of your leds working? I just installed mine and only the right one turns on. The card seems to be running fine but is it anything I should worry about?

Looking at my asus 970 it looks as if a bit of electrical tape might do the trick. (haven't tried this)

I have the Asus GTX 960 Strix with a Corsair 300r case... top is a metal mesh and at night half my ceiling is lit up with a white/grey honeycomb pattern. When I install the GeForce drivers I always deselect the 3D stuff as well as the GeForce Experience drivers. But if it turns the LED off, I'm installing it.

Bummer... "Supported NVIDIA cards are not found on the system"

Electrical tape it is.

I've a gtx 970 strix, i used a tweezers to tighten the led, it was electrocuted but not broken, and now it doesn't light ;D

It's normal, the other one seems to be 'service' light. It lighted up for me once when I,ve brutally unplugged the alimentation cable.
