Can i uninstall uplay without losing the installed games

i bought the game tom clancy's the division and when i start the game it says downloading day1 patch but the download doesn't start because it says that

i should check my internet connection or i dont have enough space on my computer which is false bcz i have a fast internet connection and plenty of space on that disk....

i read that i should try uninstalling UPLAY and reinstalling it!

so can anyone tell me how to uninstall UPLAY without losing the games?

bcz i had tried to uninstalled uplay and it removed all the games from the PC!

You can always backup your game data to another location so uplay can't delete it and put it back to save time on reinstalling it.
