My PC specs:

Intel i5 2400
GTX 1050Ti
1TB Hard drive
OptiPlex 390
0M5DCD Mobo
CX450 PSU
And, 8gb ddr3 1333 mhz ram (2 slots with 4)

I was wondering, can I replace one 4gb ram stick with an 8gb one, (too make 12gb ram in total) would it work? I've seen multiple people with the same pc and 12gb ram. If it does work, then please let me know which one I should get.

Multiple sources, including Dell and Crucial, indicate that 8GB is the maximum capacity for the desktop or SFF Optiplex 390, so you would be gambling. Perhaps you could borrow an 8GB stick to try it without committing to the cost until you know if it works.
