Can I upgrade from AMD A4-5300 to AMD A8-6500 with no problems?

Hi I have one of my home builds with the A4-5300.. For multi tasking it really sucks, lags big time..

Was wanting to know with my current build with this A4-5300 and MSI mobo could I just buy the A8-6500 and pop it in and boot back up and have no problems?

I am new to custom builds, I have only built from scratch, but upgraded parts, so wanting to see if this will be ok to do?

Also do you think I will notice much less lagging when surfing with a boat load of tabs open?

I am looking for the best fastest cpu for about $100 or less...

I currently have 16gb of ballistic ram, so that will be plenty, as my tasks never show more then 35% of RAM used, but 99% of the time I am using 89%-100% of the CPU usage up...

On a budget right now, so only have about $100 max to upgrade...

Also I just did not know if upgrading a CPU is as easy as upgrading ram where you plugin and boot and no setups or anything.. Would it be the same with the CPU?

the quad is slower, but if the apps take advantage of the extra cores it should be worth it.

it says "New BIOS support Richland / Trinity Ready" on board site (msi)............... cpu speed............... faster is always better. but the 760k does not support graphics so you will need to have a discreet graphics card. don't know if you already have one.

Crap no I do not have graphics card...

So what about out of these 3? Although the current CPU i have is 65w, the ones below are running at 100w, so what one would you pick for over all choice? as they are all between $89-$95

Also back to my org question, when upgrading is it simple as swapping the cpu out and turning on and everything will come up as if nothing was changed? or do I need to do any changes on boot or something?

I have a 5800k. it gets beat to hell compiling maps.......... not beat to hell but noticeably slower over my xeon. but you didn't mention what you were multi tasking............. get the fastest one. the 5800k.

The most I do is have chrome and firefox opened with each running around 30-40 tabs each at the same time playing youtube music playlist...

and also run a few excel sheets and word docs but that is about it...
