Can I upgrade my graphics card (AMD radeon hd 5450) to AMD Radeon 550?

I want to upgrade my graphics card but i don't know whether is it possible to upgrade it because i have a bad motherboard and processor (MSI Boston 1.0) and (Pentium Dual Core)

Any modern motherboard(including yours) will have a pcie x16 graphics card slot.

What graphics card you can upgrade to will be determined primarily by your power supply.
A RX550 will want a 350w psu.

If you have a minimal psu, a GT1030 will perform about the same and consume less power.

Second, look at your case.
Id you have a small form factor case, you will need a low profile graphics card.
Probably not thats not an upgrade, the latest card with Pentium i would suggest you would be either 1030 or r7 250 (cheaper option). But others may suggest you 1030 and Q6600 (10$). I could guide you to modify your bios to support Quad core processors as i did on my motherboard, and whats your ram size (ex. 2gb 4gb and your motherboard supports 4GB max).
