[SOLVED] Can I Upgrade My HP ProBook 430 g4 CPU?

I don't know whether my laptop model has the CPU soldered on the mainboard so could anyone please help.

I got myself a HP ProBook 430 G4 with 220GB SSD, i5-7200U, 8GB DDR4 in Single Channel, Intel HD Graphics 620 graphics card, and a HP 822c mainboard.

If it is not soldered, do you think I could upgrade the CPU?
If this laptop is compatible, is there any instructions I could find to help me upgrade as I do not want to mess up?

No. The processor and graphics are integrated (meaning that they are soldered to the motherboard).

Even a removable graphics card is limited to gaming laptops. And the processor in most cases isn't an option to upgrade without replacing the motherboard.

Looks like that CPU only comes in the BGA variety - meaning it's soldered to the board and you're not replacing it easily anytime soon.

I would suggest just buying a new laptop with the processor that you want installed.
